Don’t make me throw CBD biscuits in this office!
To clarity, its a dog treat. It is a vets office. Yes, they contain CBD. I am talking about treats that contain CBD for your pets. This past week I took in my so so stinking sweet Standard Poodle pup named Malone Gambino into the vets office for the dreaded vaccines. I allowed the 4 yr old to hold the leash. Malone is so good he even allows her to be the boss! I’m standing at the desk and see the BIGGEST German Sheppard I have ever laid eyes on. My first thoughts were how beautiful this dog was. Second thought was how HUGE he was. Literally the biggest one I might have ever seen. Third thought was….. OH SH*T. Sorry for the asterisk language but as soon as I looked at that dog I noticed that dog just laid eyes on my poor little 3 month puppy and full sprint/lunge was on us!!! I mean fast! Lucky for me my husband had come home early from work and was able to stay home with the baby. Otherwise my story would likely be a lot more severe. Back to the originally Lunge… he pounced! I grabbed the leash from my daughter so instinctively and started to go the other direction from her. The dog grabbed my puppy twice as I turned my back a tried my hardest to be a barrier between my puppy and to place distance from MY CHILD!!!! I swear it felt like an eternity but I am sure it was a 3 second ordeal. Between all the staff and the dogs owners they were able to get the dog off of us pretty quickly. My poor pup 100% soaked himself in urine and is more than likely bruised but we all dodged a huge bullet. Baby was home, My child unharmed, puppy with mere bruises and I had pee on my shoes from the puppy. THANK GOD!!!!!!! But, if you don’t think that I wish I would have thought to give these people my card you are wrong. They need help with their dog and THAT DOG NEEDS TO CHILL!!!!
How CBD Works Your Pet!
The cannabis plant contains a number of different chemicals, including CBD, phytocannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids. Humans and other mammals have specific cannabinoid receptor sites. These sites are primarily in the brain and central nervous system, and in peripheral organs, especially immune cells. They make up what’s called the endocannabinoid system. Cannabis have anti-inflammatory effects, and can help with pain, tumors, seizures, muscle spasms, skin conditions, appetite stimulation, aggression, anxiety and neurological disorders.
